#1: 206 Build Code 09500 Author: Seabook, Posted: Mon Apr 11, 2011 3:02 pm ---- did any one knows what that mean?
was looking at the service box rear bearing page, there is 2 different parts number for each tyre of bearing,
one is for build code before 9500, and the other is for 9501 or after.
so as the trailing arm.
so i presume they aren't interchangable?
i have looked carefully on the trailing arm, but can't find the parts number on it. (it got some random numbers and letter though)
can anyone share some light?
don't ask me the VIN or reg. as i don't know lol
as even i speak to the dealer, they need the vin to confirm the parts.

Basically, the 'RP' or 'Orga' number on peugeot and citroen is a date stamp, in this case 9500 would be 9,500 days after they orignally started datestamping.
Cut to the chase, This site is one I picked up on google, looks like it's from a 2cv forum, but will still work and should be correct to within a couple of days, based on the build date not the registration date...
In this case, 9500 relates to vehicles built on 12th November 2002
