Hi

Yes, you need an MTF for the gearbox and the best proven options are the Red Line MTL, Amsoil MTF or Fuchs Sintofluid. The Millers TRX 75w-80 and Motul Motylgear are good alternatives.

Morning, picked up a new 206, high mileage, just over 100k, and being unsure what's been put in it i'm considering changing it just to make sure. If you could also let me know the total quantity needed that'd be great.

Make: Pug
Model: 206 roland garros
Year: 1999
Engine type: 1.6 petrol
Performance modifications: None
Driving style: Mostly short commutes - ~4 miles
Any other information that may be relevant:

I would go with either a 10w-40 semi synthetic and give it regular changes, or you can also use a 5w-40 synthetic as a premium choice.

Stick with a reputable brand and all will be good www.opieoils.co.uk/c-6...0w-40.aspx

Ive got the Roland Garros down as a 1.4ltr? Anyway, 4lt should cover it as I think it takes 3.2ltr.

Cheers for that. As I understand it, there's a 1.4, a 1.6 8v (90 something bhp) and a 1.6 16v (110bhp) - or so say Parkers.
