get the rubber bit off the top . l mine was in two bits when i removed it lol i thinks its like a 16 or 17mm but cant really remember , i just airguned it off ( as it was f****d) then screwdriver on the side of hte metal mount' hit it with a hammer so that its un screws .. take it off screw the new one on handtight . put the rest of the mounts back on and tight up with a snap bar .. thats how i done mine at college with my teacher

its just a 32mm nut with a bit of rubber on so if you push down on a 33mm socket it will go on and undo it.

feels like its gonna slip/round off the nut but it will grip it enough to undo it.

that nut goes from the rubber to the base which is the threaded nut Smile

That rubber thing has a M10 threaded metal insert inside it, you really need to grip it tightly to get it to start to undo.

You might end up destroying it on removal.

out of curiosity im getting quote a bit of a rattle when starting the car up and this engine mount has a gap either side of it between there the bolt is and the rubber things on either side (buffers?), would that cause a loud rattling or is there supposed to be about a 5mm gap either side? because that's how it is on mine atm
