#5: Re: dented sill... :evil: Author: techy, Location: cheshirePosted: Tue Apr 26, 2011 6:28 am ---- a decent bodyshop will have a stud welder which welds little studs to the sill and then they will use a dent puller to pull the dent out, if they haven't got a stud welder a few tiny holes can be drilled and the dent puller screwed into these holes and then the holes will be mig welded up after the dents been pulled
will need a thin skim of filler after the dents been pulled but its alot better than just slapping loads of filler into the dent

iv been putting off even getting a quote on it thinking it will cost me an arm and a leg but with this info in hand i shall now be gettign a quote and hopefully getting it fixed sooner rather than later

as said i will be getting a quote on thursday and will post up a picture and what i get quoted
