Hi all
I recently bought a 206 1.9D with 65k on the clock and FSH.
I want to know when I should change the cambelt as it was done at 35k already in 2004. And also what tyoe of oil I need as I want to service it as its due one soon. And wheres is best to get trade discount as I am a motor trader?

Many thanks.

Cambelt is normally every 60k or 5years. Whatever comes first.

Oil - 10w40

Trade discount - Halfords.

Would you trust a bit of rubber to last ten years going round constantly?

General rule of thumb is 60k/5years. If you decide to leave it then thats your choice, you don't have to follow the rule of thumb Wink

Will he give you a written guarantee that if it fails before either of those intervals he will pay for the repair? Wink
