Is there any way of fixing or hiding the ugly metal strip where you jack the car up?

The jack leaves bend marks in it once jacked up and it looks ugly?

i just paint my sills black with some hammerite every now and again, hides them from most angles...

although my car being slammed means you can't see them usually Smile

And to avoid them getting any worse, don't jack the car up on the sills.

You didn't use a trolley jack under the sill did you?

I have same problem, there proper shagged, god knows what the last people did to them lol

Started rusting now, going get rid of rust, bend them straight again, hammer right them up black ( as its black Under the car, less likely to see, )

like ben said, because they are under the car painting them black means you can't see them...

so no, it won't look stupid, my car is white and i do it
