Tryed wd40 in the barrel??

U could Search eBay for lock barrels and keys, people sell full sets, I just got a full set for £30 posted including petrol cap barrel,

To change the ignition barrel it self u need to remove all the plastic around it, unplug from fuse box, undo the torx screw on top, put key Im and turn it and then pull it out,

need to rember the key blade you have now also does the doors and petrol cap so thats why i brought a full set from ebay,
to change the blade in fob on mine i just undo the little screw on the key fob, pull blade out, push new one in and put screw back in,

there are probably other ways to this but this is how i went about it other week, just gives you an option,

Just go to a Pug main dealer with the V5C log book & photo id, then order up a new barrel to match your original key.
