1. when i turn corners its makes a really loud squeaking noice like a crunch (not a knock like driveshaft) only when driving slowley.
2. i can hear a whistling noice when i drive over 30/40mph
can anyone help?

Try getting someone to listen to hear where the noise is coming from while you rock the steering back and forth on the spot. Should narrow it down if not the bearings.

Its just getting to it thats the problem as you have got to strip that corners suspension down to get to it.
