The brake transfer linkage will be the same as a UK spec right hand drive 206.

Author: dalton-gti-180, Location: hampshirePosted: Fri May 27, 2011 4:09 am ---- isent it were there all built left hand drive then converted..... to check just sit in the passenge seat stick your foot around till you find a bar tap it with your foot and watch the drivers pedals move

The 206 was originally designed as left hand drive.
A lot of cars use brake transfer linkages, older Fiesta's as an example but there linkage is inside the engine comparment.
#20: Re: Passenger can hit the brakes now? Author: gixxerkev, Location: wiltshirePosted: Fri May 27, 2011 5:47 am ---- Tried it in my 2003 206, tapped n pushed around in the passenger footwell for 5 minutes, no dramas at all.
#21: Re: Passenger can hit the brakes now? Author: Golfguy206, Location: PeterboroughPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 6:28 am ---- if you poke your head under the passenger footwell and look upwards towards the centre console, you can see (on pre 2005 206's) a grey/metal column running along the front of the passenger compartment toward the drivers side - this is the brak trasnfer linkage.
It has the break light switch attached to it (so when you brake, the switch is opened and your brake lights come on)
