#1: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: LeeThr, Location: North West WalesPosted: Thu May 26, 2011 7:09 pm ---- I really want to get my alloys on the car. The thought of them being sat in the garage gathering dust is doing my head in now. But I dont have the correct bolts and dont fancy something going wrong.
Im off to the stealers tommorow anyway, was wondering if somebody could tell me which bolts I need and possibly a part number?
The alloys in question are the pug 206 xsi alloys, Siroccos I belive there called (allthough the spelling may not be right)
Thanks

#3: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: spud_gti, Location: NottinghamPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 2:14 am ---- ebay might be cheaper than peugeot, ask to have a look at a bolt or get the part number and then ask the question on ebay if there the right ones...
#4: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 2:19 am ---- If I remember mine were less than £2 each ... that was about 5 years ago though. And as I had a set of locking nuts, I just bought 12.
The alloy bolts are the ones with the captive flat washer. All seem to be the same apart from the nut size. So our HDi has 17mm, CC has 19mm.

A Peugeot / Citroen main dealer is cheap enough for new alloy wheel bolts, just buy a set from a dealer.

Less then £3 each, I cant be bothered to log in to service box again, ive posted the price up several times for alloy wheel bolts in the last month alone on here.
#9: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: GazRG, Location: Bournemouth/CardiffPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 3:16 am ---- They'll be much cheaper from a scrappy if you can find the right ones unless you're really bothered about buying new.
#10: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: smiddies, Location: BrightonPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 3:57 am ---- A part like that you cant really afford not to buy new!
#11: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: perry081064, Location: staffordshirePosted: Fri May 27, 2011 4:05 am ---- as already posted by mr bsi, i had to get some for mine.
took his advice and got new from the dealer and worked out cheaper.

#12: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: spud_owen, Location: ashby de la zouchPosted: Fri May 27, 2011 4:19 am ---- are they really that cheap from a dealer? going to get myself down there!
#13: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: LeeThr, Location: North West WalesPosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 7:19 am ---- Well been to the stealers today, almost on first name terms with the chap on the parts desk the number of times me and my mate have been in there lately. I printed out what I could find on service box and took it with me 2 different types,
5405 65
&
5405 67
Under my reg number the system said I should have the 5405 65's which was the only one's in stock well he only had 4 of them. Are these deffinatally the right ones? They where the cheaper of the 2 as well thankfully. So I hope they are. So I now have 4 bolts another 12 to go. (Hopefully unless someone comes along now and says they arent and I need the more expensive type.
#14: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: Daza, Location: Benfleet, EssexPosted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 2:07 pm ---- i got some the other day! Part number for the 17mm ones : 540567 @ £1.88 + VAT
#15: Re: Alloy Wheel bolts. Author: Seabook, Posted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 2:27 pm ---- probably just the difference between 19mm and 17mm head
