#1: Why it only shifts smoothly to gear 1 when stopped? It's annoying that I have to stop to get it in gear.

Learn to drive CORRECTLY
You shouldnt be trying to select 1st gear while the car is moving, your gonna end up breaking something if you keep trying to force it in to gear.

If your having problem's pulling off in second gear anything over 3mph I would suggest something is wrong somewhere or something has worn.
