About time i got one of these back up and running eh Very Happy

Previously had a Peugeot 206 1.1lx for 2 and half years, got when i was 16, which i modified and loved a lot!

that started out in life like this (lol at lexus lights and reflectors)

Ended up like this when I'd finished

It then hit an MOT, and a lot of problems were found, so i decided enough was enough and to get a newer one,

Took a trip to mercedes benz where some lass had traded one in for A-Class (bad move lol!)
Wanted one of these since i was at school! A 206 GTI180 in Aluminium Silver, had 23k on the clock, 2 years old ... I fell in love after a test drive So bought it.

Soon as i got it home the modifying bug bit me, so fitted some SP grills (top, middle and lower)

Painted the Calipers, and disc shields a nice shade of Gold

New tyres, yoko parada 2's - sticky in dry, useless in everything else

I like to work on my cars myself, so gave it a full service, along with new Rocker Gaskets to stop leaks

Mmmmm... CAMS

Two subtle Peugeot Sport Lion Vinyls

Then i wired in a automatically dimming rear view mirror off a 406 Coupé (awesome mod!)

Annoyed with only having a boot light at one side, I went and bought an identical one from Peugeot, measured it up and wired one in the other side, so it matches

Went to a Rolling Road meet with 206info, car kicked out underpower at the time 161.6bhp and 147lb/ft torque Sad

Driving home from the meet, my handbrake snapped, which was a nightmare, so i set to fixing that myself two days later!

Around christmas 2008, My exhaust fell off Sad ... so bought a full twin 3.5" Janspeed stainless cat back system (my fav mod by far lol - tunnellllsssss )

Then Came some FK M3 Crystal Rear LED Lights, so bright at night time, perfect

Had a wee bit of an accident, when i smashed into a kerb in the rain, turned the wishbone into a banana and knocked tracking way out =[

K&N Performance Panel Filter to help my engine breathe a bit better, look at the difference in width between OEM and the K&N lol!

After my exhaust and Air changes, decided to get another RR done, on the same dyno etc, now pulling out 169.2bhp and 154lb/ft torque, so a nice little increase

I'm also a bit of a detailing freak, spending way too much money and time on my car, so i detail the car and engine bay quite a lot haha

One box of many

dirty! pah!

clean

polished up the inlet mani and engine bay
before

after

then i converted my standard key into a remote 'flip' key

Recently Installed Cruise Control myself, i don't need it, just like odd gadgets on my car for some reason

Andddddd some random pics and videos of the car if anyones still awake and has bandwidth left haha

Future plans are to involve
- getting my alloys refurbed in a dark graphite colour.
- Eibach Sportline lowering springs and Bilstein Dampers
- Valeo Black Masked Headlights
- Black Masked fog lights

This just makes me wish I knew about cars so I could do things myself like you have. I'd love to service my car myself but wouldn't have a clue what to do lol. I know it's in the Haynes Manual but I still don't understand hehe.

IIRC Scott might still need to get it coded??

Loving the car Scott as you know. Makes me really want to get stuck in about the 180 again this spring/summer for a good clay and spring clean! Black has just been a NIGHTMARE over the winter months.

Funnily enough i have just been on elite care care looking at what i want to buy...too much stuff as per bloody usual Rolling Eyes

Is it just me or is your rear axle overly rusty?! Mines is probably the same! Might tart it up for FCS. Oh the joys of having a lock-up for spray-age-ness. Cool
