? Not sure what that means. Any clock display with the code PPT30 will work on my GTi T reg. Cheers
#21: Re: Radio and clock display not working? Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 11:24 am ---- Yes - that is the right clock
No - any that say ppt-30 won't be the right one. PPT-30 is just the connector. It needs to be a multiline display with a PPT30 connector, as you can get single line displays with ppt30 sonnectors.

the screws which fix the glass panel onto where it joins with the rubber bridge to the main board.
'Have fixed many LCD's like this in the past but it's a fiddly job as you have to
line-up the LCD perfectly with the bridge connector and it also depends on the exact
mechanical design of the part. If you can see screws on the back, try simply doing them up
tightly without snaping anything obviously.
Worth a go before binning it though..

In your case it is not a backlight issue by the looks of your pic. in page 1.
You need to get the text appearing properly first, then sort-out the bulbs for the backlighting..
