#3: Re: can you put drop links on wrong way ? Author: eddrj, Location: BerkshirePosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 1:17 pm ---- its a mechanic who did it too same one i always go to ,
dunno why there on other way .
if it makes no difference i dont mind just want to know it it matters and is safe ? seems ok so far been using it all day and went fast on motorway so should be ok.
If i look through front left side of car i see the bolt not the round circle head bit of the droplink link all other pics if you see what i mean.
If i look the back side behind tyre bit at then see the whole droplink and head round bits.

#10: Re: can you put drop links on wrong way ? Author: eddrj, Location: BerkshirePosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 1:59 pm ---- just checked my dads peugeot partner his has top facing one way and bottom facing other way on same rod so obvs doesnt matter thats good , no worries then .
#11: Re: can you put drop links on wrong way ? Author: Dabamash, Location: The car in frontPosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 2:03 pm ---- If you put them on the wrong way and it works, it's the right way, so it's not the wrong way anyway. If you put them on the wrong way and it doesn't work, then they're on the wrong way.
Well, I'm confused now.
#12: Re: can you put drop links on wrong way ? Author: eddrj, Location: BerkshirePosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 2:05 pm ---- im confused too just dunno why every other persons other way around lol,
o well some cars have bottom one facing one way and top facing the other so dont matter just as bolts are tight suppose.
just thought when saw because where other way before had them done .
I just meant facing wrong way not as in upside down or anything lol because obvs same each end .
#13: Re: can you put drop links on wrong way ? Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Sat Jun 04, 2011 2:09 pm ---- Every 206 will be built with the bolts facing forwards. It might have been easier to produce them like that. They will work facing the other way though without and problems.
Different cars in the Peugeot range have different drop links to acount for different anti roll bar and strut arrangements so they can't be compared.
