#1: arch problem Author: doughboy5, Location: devon(weekends) nr cambridge(in the week)Posted: Fri Jun 10, 2011 1:01 pm ---- i know i am on about my arches again as i have said a few questions befor.
but i have just fitted them they look good but at the front they dont sit flush to the car i mean they are close but there is a small gap (2-3mm) which is why i guess you are ment to use rubbers. so the questions are 1. is this a problem at high speed will they fly off down the motorway. 2. does anybody have any rubbers they can sell me for all 4 arches. 3. if no one has any for sale is the stealers the only place to getthem at £11 each?
#2: Re: arch problem Author: iainlovatt, Posted: Fri Jun 10, 2011 1:04 pm ---- you can find rubber tape at electrical wholesalers, just go there and buy it dead cheap!
with regards to them coming off, if there is enough drag when going down the motorway then yes they could come off!! They would start vibrating depending how fast you were going , which would also damage paintwork!

#6: Re: arch problem Author: doughboy5, Location: devon(weekends) nr cambridge(in the week)Posted: Fri Jun 10, 2011 1:41 pm ---- well i am gunna try the tape in the mornig going to pop into a place round the corner from where the mrs works. but i have a feeling it will either look s**t or wont fit that well. i just dont want to f*** them up. lol if i have to i might have to go to the stealers and get them form there but apparently they are £11 each which is what i paid for the arches and the clips so is alot to fork out really. it would be so much easier if they where cheap or someone that i drive past on way to camp had some spare that i could buy. hey but life aint easy is it especially with a peugeot in it.

#8: Re: arch problem Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Fri Jun 10, 2011 3:02 pm ---- You paid £11 for arches and clips yet your complainin over a few quid. Sell your car. Fuel is getting
more expensive!
Most people pay £50+ for the arches without clips.
