#1: gear linkge help please Author: dannyN, Location: medway, kentPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 4:10 pm ---- Hi, im replacing the clutch on my 1.6 206 (2000), Im a fairly competant mechanic and know what im doing most of the time lol but i cant work out how to disconnect the gear linkage from the gearbox.. There is a 16mm bolt on the linkage by the bulk head is this it?? ive managed to turn it a few turns but it wont budge any more.. i dont want to either shere it of or waste any more time on it if thats nothing to do with it..
any help much appreciated

to remove them from gear box you have to pop them off the linkage,
i have removed a few gearbox's from my 206's last one was a 2000 plate 1.6 so should be the same.
