What's EGR?

If the COM2000 has been replaced with the auto-headlight version is it possible to add the feature by adding extra wiring or anything or is it just a useless button?

Exhaust gas re-circulation. Some people remove/block it anyway as a performance mod.

Thanks Lee

So, if it's not the COM2000 as it has the equipment for the auto-headlights but just no wiring for it, I wonder what could cause the headlights to come on by themselves.

Might be a faulty com2000

To retrofit Autolights, you need a sensor and the BSI settings editing

Either that, or the Radio repair mileage was noted down wrong as it did no miles in the 5 months between that and the ECU update
