The only common problem I can think off is clutch
Judder due to broken clutch bearing or wharped flywheel.

Stock for stock I would say yes, although I would imagine the 180 needs more effort to make it go fast.
They are really nice cars to be honest, so nice infact I want another

Mines slightly quicker than my friends 207 thp 175, which annoys him
#7: Re: gfs brothers getting 180 Author: Lewis, Location: Isle Of WightPosted: Tue Jun 21, 2011 3:53 am ---- if youve been in a 207gti you wont think the 180 is as quick because of the torque difference.. The 207 is turbo charged so pulls like a train through the low revs but if you use the 180s full rev range.. its definitely quicker
#8: Re: gfs brothers getting 180 Author: JE_180, Location: WiltshirePosted: Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:07 am ---- I wouldn't say it pulls like a train but it has a lot smoother power delivery than my 180, as proven on our RR readouts.
#9: Re: gfs brothers getting 180 Author: Lewis, Location: Isle Of WightPosted: Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:20 am ---- i was just getting the point across that they feel faster than they actually are because of the low end torque.. train may of been the wrong way to describe it
