Someone will answer your question soon
#3: Re: brake discs Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 9:35 am ---- Drilled can become cracked due to large amounds of heat dissipating through a small area around the holes, I think grooved is better
Also its not as simple as just putting the disks on, you would need the calipers and setup from that model.
#4: Re: brake discs Author: Lewis, Location: Isle Of WightPosted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 9:45 am ---- you couldnt just buy 180 discs for a normal GTI cause i beleive they are bigger. if you look on ebay Mtec do nice drilled and grooved disks for the peugeots.
#5: Re: brake discs Author: Seabook, Posted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:24 am ---- plain disc is excellent
#6: Re: brake discs Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:27 am ---- Absolutely no reason to fit anything but a plain vented disc on a 206.

Unless it's for better braking or looks. Might not be power full enough to need them but they would make difference.

I doubt you'd be using the brakes long enough on a road for drilled or grooved discs to be of any use over standard discs.
A better brake pad would be a better choice.
#9: Re: brake discs Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 11:10 am ---- Brembo discs with Ferodo Premier pads, all you need on a standard road going 206.

do you really think those cheap nasty black dia**** or e*c drill/ groove disc is good for performance?
althought, however, i do believe those expensive WRC grade AP groove disc are build for performance. but that probably worth more than a 1.9D 206
