lol, vote for the most random post ever?
I interpret it that he means the entire instrument cluster became detached and fell off (possibly out of the window? as it’s so hot today the window would have been open)

On a more serious note pull the shade thing whatever its called off (pull hard towards you) Unscrew the cluster (Torx bolt at the top) Pull it out and check the plug is in properly.

Years ago a mate of mine had a Nova SR where the instrument cluster would fall out forwards from the dash under hard acceleration
