#1: Squeeking tyres noise? Author: kit325, Location: LondonPosted: Sat Jul 02, 2011 5:45 am ---- I noticed that when i drive my car on the road the tyres will made some kind of tyre squeeking noise when making turns or my wheels driving pass a metal covers on the road. My front absorbers being changed two months ago and alignment being done in the same time as well. It passed mot at the same time as well!
Just wonder anyones got any idea for the cause of the problems? Hopefully won't cost much cause already spent a fortune on this car already. Many Thanks!

Most of the cheap tyre brands around are bloody awful.

Sava tyres are good for people on a budget, there basically a slightly older design of Goodyear

One more strange problems on the car is the steering wheel about 1 degree off to the right when driving but will return to 0 degree once the car been brake to stop.

I disagree.
My uncles car's tyre suffered a blowout at 70mph, that was a Kumho.
I had them on my Fabia vRS, poor grip in wet and not great when dry.

Not the best, but to be fair they do grip very well in the dry & are pretty good in the wet as well. I no longer pirouet aaround rounabouts now. But I dont if im just seeing the difference from just stepping up from runing klebbers for the past 18 months. They were s**te to say the least. No grip in the dry, throw it in to a corner instantly lose grip so you understeered and then it would find grip and pull you back the other way made corners very horrible. In the wet they were a nightmare some rounabouts I had to negotiate on just the clutch to avoid spinning. The next set I buy will be some proxes T1-r's.

If I buy them in my current size they will cost me £70 a corner, however if I drop the profile down by 5 there £41 a corner.
