Welll, Ive got a big long list of stuff to do today and the first being a "quick" change of fuel filter on my 1.6 8v. Rolling Eyes

I cannea get the sodding thing off!! Evil or Very Mad

Any tips??

Rules of life: If it moves, but it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it's supposed to move, but it doesn't, use WD40. If you want it off, but it won't come off, use a hammer. If you want to put it back on again, use duct tape.

i remember doing this and it was a pain, when i changed mine i didn't put the new one back in properly and lost a LOT of fuel as soon as i pulled off my drive Rolling Eyes (so make sure it's on properly) Rolling On The Floor Laughing

How does it come off mate? Just squeeze the clips together?

squeese the white bits hard and pull it off mate. they are stiff so they dont come off while your driving

lol, when i did mine on the gti , i had to use 2 scew drivers to hold the release bits in took 3 of us about 45 mins lol
