#1: maybe the wiper sensor has to go? Author: bisphenol-a, Location: AntarcticaPosted: Sun Jul 03, 2011 6:57 am ---- before the wiper sensor could determine when it was drizzling and when it was pouring or even when the clouds decided to be cute. it would wipe really fast in the pouring rain, intelligently do the 'intermittent' wiping when there was occasion droplets or just stop when the rain stopped altogether.
now, it can only go really fast when it pours or keeps on wiping even if the rain have stopped. sounds like the wiper sensor fault? where is this sensor located? i would like to take it out give it a clean and determine if i need a new sensor.
on a side note, i wish to remove my wiper arms to refurb it all over. is it just a simple removal of the 3 bolts and the reverse to put it back? anything delicate i need to be aware off?
thanks guys.
