Hey guys.

So me and my grandad have been working on my uncles 205 gti for last few months, to get it back to it's former glory.

Basically my uncle died of a brain Tumour when he was 27, this year he would be 40 so in memory of his life me and my grandad have been fixing up his 205 gti..

Anyways that's enough talking, here's a few pics of it as it stands, there a few more plans but I will keep it all updated when they come around Smile

Here's a picture of the engine

And a video of it running and the exhaust system

Any comments are more then welcome... Apologies about the cruddy pictures!

Enjoy Smile

Looks good, are the aftermarket alloys staying or are you going to return the wheels back to standard?

Ah thanks that would be great if you did, mines rusted through on the underside near the bonnet hinge so want to make sure i get a solid one before driving.

Im going to say original pepperpots, i never used to like them but i think they look smart and help to make it look like a orignal example. Heres a picture of mine to give you an idea of what they look like.

I LOVE 205s. Go with original wheels, GTI's if possible. This one looks good. It's a nice idea to restore it. I'll be keeping an eye out for your updates on it!

Lol believe it or not, there is only one patch of rust on the passenger side rear arch. Apart from that it's pretty rust free lol!
