#1: removing bonnet vents Author: bisphenol-a, Location: AntarcticaPosted: Fri Jul 08, 2011 4:04 am ---- i thought those clips were those simple mushroom clips i get from the boot lining. but damn it's difficult to remove and i dont wanna try too hard before i break/snap/destroy anything.
i just want to remove it to give it a coat of paint and snap back on.
possible?

no, jam a fork or screwdriver into the clip to pull the middle of the clip out.

top left corner clip was busted
so i gotta try and remove the clips (4) at the corners with considerable force and a fork might make the job easier? looks like i gotta head down to the dealers for new clips. how do you remove the clips that are already busted? cut and clip your way through the bits and pieces?
anyone got a part number on these? or are these the same as those clips that holds the boot lining in place?
