#1: driving me mental! Author: JordGJ, Location: Leeds / West MidlandsPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:39 am ---- right, i have a horrible persistant rattle/squeek that sounds like its coming from the glovebox/passenger dash/passenger mirror area.... i've searched and fiddled around and cant feel anything loose!
its a constant squeek over any tiny bump and its doing my head in, a joke had developed that there's a mouse in my glovebox
anyone had this before and solved it or are there any common rattle causes i should know about? or anyone even have any ideas?

Someone had a rattle/squeeking from the same area. If im right, it was recommended putting a squirt of wd40 down the handbrake button. I know it sounds weird but it definately had the same noise etc and was cured with the above. Try it and post back!
