I'm currently a 106 GTi owner, but recently spotted a Peugeot 206 with a 406 2l turbo lump which really caught my eye and brought me here.
Firstly, I was just wondering how common this conversion is? Anything specific to look for when purchasing one that's already been converted? There's one for sale in my local area which all in all is a pretty clean example, just wondering if there is any common problems that could leave me wanting to avoid it.

claimed 250bhpp with 406 turbo engin in looks pretty nice
by the way if you do get it and you are on about the one i have seen and decide to change wheels please sell me the ones on it i have searched high and low for them but they rarely come up and dont wanna pay the price at the stealers

The reason it was an option was because it was any good
The money you spent on that conversion you could put towards a reasonable turbo Gti lump
