Hi there!

I'm currently a 106 GTi owner, but recently spotted a Peugeot 206 with a 406 2l turbo lump which really caught my eye and brought me here.

Firstly, I was just wondering how common this conversion is? Anything specific to look for when purchasing one that's already been converted? There's one for sale in my local area which all in all is a pretty clean example, just wondering if there is any common problems that could leave me wanting to avoid it.

Thanks in advance!

Why put a shitter engine in a 206?

The reason it was an option was because it was any good Laughing

The money you spent on that conversion you could put towards a reasonable turbo Gti lump

Ah I see, guessing that's why they're so rare. Out of interest, why is it a s**t engine? Lack of power considering it's a 2L T?
