That plastic screw that you un do to get the rear lights out is stuck, its really not moving at all. Tried using plyers to losen it but it wont budge. Anyone had this before? Not sure what i can do to remove it Sad

I think a 17mm ring spanner will fit over it, I have used that method before and it works

Yeah I had to use a spanner on my old car. But be careful as it may break.

Spanners? Torx FTW and a bit of grease or WD40

Heat it up with a blow torch... and post a video Razz

Good shout on the 17mm socket by the way. Got the same issue on the 206 I service.

Torx wouldnt work, you need to use a ring spanner so it can go over the nut on the screw.

Push the light in as well when you try and losen it and it will make it a hell of a lot easier.

And get mole grips, don't see it not working then

Sorry I meant Socket, I have a socket set that comes with a load of Torx bits, a socket set would do it

as said by harry, when your trying to undo it, push the actual light fitting into the body of the car as hard as you can, it will release the pressure on the nut and make it WAY easier to get off

Thats what i'd suggest aswel. relieve the stress the light has but pushing it toward the car.

if you get them off, grease the thread up so its easier next time
