Fianlly, a thread I can argue in Laughing

Black is far, far, worse than Silver to keep clean, I clean my car, and do all the usual finishing on it, within 2 days the roof (Black) is ready for another clean whereas the rest of the car (Silver) is still looking nice and shiney..

Although I have to agree, Black is sooo much easier to get a wet look and depth with than silver.. Cant have the best of both though eh?

I like the challenge of getting a nice wet look on silver Cool

well I agree with you on that,I got a Black Passat, and I clean it at least once a weak,to keep it shiny, but since my pug is silver,I clean it once a week or 2 weeks :D,but to be honest 206 looks so sexy and elegant with Black, and Black is the King of colors in my opinion :D,so enjoy it,and enjoy the ppl stare at you while you drive it as well Very Happy

Cheers rrtam, and the calipers are getting done on Tuesday when I'm off work next pal, the front badge is having the lion sprayed black and the outer bit is going silver, or maybe staying red depending how it looks

I think painting the lion black and leaving the outer bit red works very well, I've just done a quick PS

I think so too pal, will get on it pronto lol, sometimes you learn by your mistakes, I did have the lions on the alloys done red but didn't like them either so might spray them black too

Black cars are quite hard to keep clean, especially dust settling on the car after a day or two! Best thing is to layer it with wax so the dirt comes off easier. Only problem is trying to dry the car when it beads alot

Use a little detailer as you dry Wink
