Im trying to change my spark plugs but the one on the far right (cylinder 1?) is being exceptionally stubborn! I can't get the socket to sit on the spark plug so i can twist it out! All the others are fine but this one just won't go on. Ive tried pushing a bit harder down onto the plug with the socket but to no avail. Any ideas? Car is a 1.4 1999 206.

Iirc 16mm deep is the correct size??? Someone will correct if wrong.
