lol, I disconnect my battery even if im replacing an interior bulb, anything to do with anything and I disconnect it, too many scare stories on here to risk not disconnecting it Wink

I manged to access it through the window switch hole, really difficult though because there is virtually NO slack and the wires are thick.

Glad thats over with!

onYour both wrong, obviously i disconected the battery when i worked on it, the bulb part doesn't run through a fuse, it runs through the bsi, as i learnt to my expense.
It was working for a while, then i noticed the bulb wasn't working again, (THINKING IT HAD BLOWN) so i left it because of the hassle to get to it.
Only the lighter itself is fused.
