... to the bespeckled youth who's been driving it around Stourport?
#438: Re: Ape's Leon Cupra R 225 *SOLD* Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Thu May 02, 2013 8:25 am ---- Stourport / Kidderminster, yes.
The graphics have gone from it (we took them off on the day of sale). The Plate will be transferred once the V5c comes back. I believe the wheels are being repainted soon too. Shame to see it go but good to know it's still local.
#439: Re: Ape's Leon Cupra R 225 *SOLD* Author: Barking, Location: sarcasm-in-shedloadsPosted: Thu May 02, 2013 9:31 am ---- I must admit that I was surprised seeing him driving it two days in a row (with your plate on it around Lickhill). No doubt I'll ignore it when the original plate is back on it
#440: Re: Ape's Leon Cupra R 225 *SOLD* Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Thu May 02, 2013 9:37 am ---- Hopefully the Plate will be on something RWD soon. Fancy a bit of a change.
Whereabouts in the good old toilet of Stourport are you then?

#442: Re: Ape's Leon Cupra R 225 *SOLD* Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Thu May 02, 2013 10:58 am ---- I knew it!!!! It's the writing style, plus the Lickhill bit that got me thinking it was you!
Hope you're keeping well Old Bean! What are you motoring about in these days?

Hi Ad - yeah, I'm good thanks bud.
I'm still in the Golf GT TSI 160 (it's 3 years old now) - I sold the 205 CTi 1.9 last year to an enthusiast (PSCUK/PSOOC member) who's spent the past 5 months restoring it
#444: Re: Ape's Leon Cupra R 225 *SOLD* Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Thu May 02, 2013 11:22 am ---- Good stuff!
3 Years has certainly flown by, I remember when you took delivery of that!
The LCR went to a good friend and will be kept local (and you may see me driving it around from time to time). The plates will be going on a car I bought for the other half temporarily, and will then be transferred again to the new project. It will have a similar colour scheme to the LCR, minus the graphics (probably ) )
Good to see you're still knocking around though

... especially being in my 90's (j/k!)
I still keep popping back to the same old forums I used to - 206info, psooc/pscuk, 205gtidrivers, uk-mkivs.net, briskoda, scoobynet, that local jap forum - way too many in fact
I foresee a future of confusion with so many 'APE' tranfers, I hope it finds a permanent home soon!

That's a healthy number! I check here, a couple of SEAT and Mazda Forums, the MLR and that's about it. Facebook has killed many forums and with work and stuff I just don't get time anymore
It'll keep people guessing for a while, it'll hopefully end up on something like an S2000 or RX8 but we'll see.
