Yep, they needed a refurb. A joke and impulse choice led to them being that colour (much like many's first child!). It's better than following the trend of keeping them a standard colour, or anthracite, or black *yawn*.

Putting what I said BACK into context... I'd rather spend more time driving it and enjoying it than being anal about things that don't really matter.

Seb.... Shut up Wink mwah x

Cheers bud. The 206 was a test run of modifying I think, the leon is having much much more research done before any modifications are carried out.

They are mate, until you rock your car and the marshmellows for tyres you've got keep it rocking for a fair while after Laughing

Small update Very Happy

Whilst I'm working away from home in the week, a friend needed a car as his was going to Forge Motorsport for a few bits  so I let him borrow my LCR. Not something I'd normally do but he was a bit stuck and is a SEAT Master Technician so he gave it a going over whilst he had it. Aaaand sorted out the badges for me and replaced my centre caps too Very Happy

Seb and Hilla popped over today to clean the cars / have lowering springs fitted / strip weight from my LCR and generally a**e about for the day Razz thanks for coming round guys, was good fun!!

Anyway, enough talk, more photo's!

New Centre Caps

No rear trim / interior

Front is still mostly in though. this will be sorted in the near future

Shots of new badges / general redness Razz

Alot of people say about removing rear seats etc being completely pointless. But, we removed the rear bench and backrests, a few bits of plastic trim, seatbelts and seatbelt clips, spare wheel and jack / emergency kit and not much else... Saved 55.3 Kg's. It's helped me locate a new rattle which appears to be the top mount for the rear suspension, a minor thing that will be sorted next week and has helped me pinpoint an annoying boot rattle. The exhaust soundtrack is much better and it does feel a little quick to accelerate (although this could just be because its noisier now!). Feels like my 206 handling wise (not a bad thing), but alot quicker Razz

Make no mistake, its a bit lardy Laughing weighing it at about 1350kg standard compared to my 206's 1020kg, but it does have better handling, accelaration and braking power. Just need to get it down a bit more Laughing the 207's lardy too in comparision (1270kg I've found?)

I've decided the route I'll be taking with this project too. Twisted Evil

I got on really well with it, I'm going back later in the year after I've done a few decent modifications to see if I can improve my time. Got under the 10minute barrier on my second lap which I was happy with. Kept up with a new GTR for a bit on there too Laughing Got overtaken by the 'Ring Taxi (507bhp M5 anyone?) lol. I'd live there if I could, the atmosphere and general ambience of the place is like nothing I've experienced before.

I've found a few pics that were taken of Shed and I at Rockingham the other weekend Very Happy

The track is easier than I remember, I'll upload the vids soon too Very Happy Shed performed well although it did feel a little flat sometimes, could be that I've got used to it though now?

The tyres started giving up before the brakes which was nice Laughing still think I need to up the brakes capability some more though. I'm a bit torn about where to focus next between Power and Handling.

Power Upgrades:
Blueflame Turbo Back Exhaust with Motorsport Cat
Forge FMIC
Forge Turbo Intake Pipe and Charge Pipes
Remap
Uprated Engine Mounts (all 3)

Handling Upgrades:
Neuspeed 28mm rear Anti Roll Bar (On Order £250ish)
S3 Front Upper Strut Brace
R32 Front ARB
Adjusted Geometry Setup
Polybushes all round

I'll probably go for a mix of the two
