I don't use the drivers vent that much to be honest, there's a window demister vent built into the top of the dash which does the trick.

#33: Re: Ape's SEAT Leon Cupra R 225 Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Fri Feb 19, 2010 7:49 am ---- Is it accurate though? I've not find one that's as accurate as I'd like it to be
#34: Re: Ape's SEAT Leon Cupra R 225 Author: twed207, Location: borders, near carlisle.Posted: Fri Feb 19, 2010 8:31 am ---- seems acurate... i've seen loads of reviews and no one's compained.

#39: Re: Ape's SEAT Leon Cupra R 225 Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:36 pm ---- Aye no worries. There'll be a few more goodies coming at the end of April I've got a couple of weeks off after next week, then I'm back to work, followed by my 'Ring trip, then as soon as I'm back I'll be getting the next phase done as well.

Yep, he's right, it provides useless nerd info, such as when your oil temperature is sufficient so you can open it up without damaging anything, or you can find out the oil temperatures reached when used properly (on track etc). Boost Pressure readings so you can see if there are any leaks or problems. Fault codes that may crop up without illuminating the EML etc. Air/Fuel Ratio so you can monitor if its leaning out too much etc. Pretty Useless to be honest.
The full list is a couple of posts up....
#43: Re: Ape's SEAT Leon Cupra R 225 Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Sun Feb 21, 2010 12:11 pm ---- Camera is installed Bit fiddly but got there in the end, video quality isn't too bad considering it's £13!
Played around with the Dumpvalve as well this afternoon
#44: Re: Ape's SEAT Leon Cupra R 225 Author: Ape, Location: Clipping the Apex!Posted: Tue Feb 23, 2010 1:25 pm ---- Played with the Dumpvalve at the weekend, and mounted the new little camcorder! It boosts harder now, it is a bit louder but it's not too bad.
I got a delivery today My Race Diagnostics Liquid Gauge:

It took a fair bit of sanding, and removing the vent slat's wasn't too pretty. I used some of the bubblewrap packing as a heatshield in the vent and packed it tight. The Gauge is brilliant, accurate and easy to use. Bhp measured at 230bhp, with torque at 234lb ft, will see at the P Torque Rolling Road day how it compares against a Rolling Road etc. Boost peaked at 16.something psi, oil temperature stayed at around 90. The only fault code I got was regarding the N249 which I've bypassed so no problems there. My only gripe with it is the multi graph - seems to have a problem with it and after a short while it resets its communication due to an error. Being able to reset the Throttle Body through it is a nice touch also.
All in all, very pleased with it, not too hard to install and it isn't too distracting whilst driving either. Top product!
