#1: creaking from front help? Author: JordGJ, Location: Leeds / West MidlandsPosted: Tue Aug 30, 2011 5:15 am ---- I've had a creaking/knocking coming from my front drivers side wheel area, had a mechanic look at and listen to it today and he reckons its my top mount. Bearing gone or something...
The noise happens when turning right at low speeds and going over bumps
He looked over the rest of the suspension and can't see anything wrong
Basically before I buy one and get him to do it... Do top mounts go? Is it likely to be that? Bare in mind I have coilvers and the car is slammed so lots of stress on everything...
