Ive just put a better mfd in my mrs car and now the cd changer doesnt work Confused

Does it need re-enabling in the bsi or something?

Her car is a 2005 and went from a single line ppt40 to this one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230...1439.l2649

Any help appreciated Smile

Im 90% certain there's a setting that you have to enable on the screen through diagnostics to tell it that there is a changer fitted. I'll have a look for you because I have that screen fitted in mine.

BSI configuration needs tweaking to tell the BSI it now has a TRIP COMPUTER fitted Wink

As soon as the BSI config is tweaked the cd changer will spring back in to life.

I had this exact same problem back in 2005, caused the Pug master tech to scratch his head for a while Laughing

Nothing due to car being under manufacturers warranty at time & Pug master tech wanting to experiment Laughing

Nah you don't need to tell it that it has a trip computer. Just change the settings in the MFD

Fitting 3 line mfd kills the factory cd changer until BSI configuration is tweaked for trip computer fitment, been there, done that & got the t shirt Wink

Made Pug master tech at dealer scratch his head back in 05 when I had this issue Laughing

I'm positive I did Confused

Maybe you need to re-edit the MFD config for the CD changer. As im 99% sure that the CD changer option is in the MFD

its weird Confused there's no option for the cd changer on the mfd though as I have been through it. I know on mine it says cdc: out and I thought this might have the same sort of thing but it just does date, time, speed kph - mph and the temperature

It needs BSI configuration set up tweaking for trip computer with Peugeot Planet.

It has that done. But when you go into the MFD settings you need to enable CAN-VAN on the MFD too for the CD changer. If it wasn't enabled on the previous car which it was removed from then it won't have the settings on this car.
