I'll have a look for you because I have that screen fitted in mine.

BSI configuration needs tweaking to tell the BSI it now has a TRIP COMPUTER fitted
As soon as the BSI config is tweaked the cd changer will spring back in to life.
I had this exact same problem back in 2005, caused the Pug master tech to scratch his head for a while

Only person I know that can do it is Lee and hes the other end of the country/ out of the country.

Nothing due to car being under manufacturers warranty at time & Pug master tech wanting to experiment
#7: Re: CD Changer help. Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Sep 12, 2011 3:36 pm ---- Nah you don't need to tell it that it has a trip computer. Just change the settings in the MFD

Where do I do that? Ive been through all the settings on the mfd and it only comes up with time and date and speed units?

Fitting 3 line mfd kills the factory cd changer until BSI configuration is tweaked for trip computer fitment, been there, done that & got the t shirt

Made Pug master tech at dealer scratch his head back in 05 when I had this issue
To be fair he sorted out for me as he wanted a play with BSI configurations & didnt charge
#12: Re: CD Changer help. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 12:18 pm ---- Dont think they would do it for free down here
#13: Re: CD Changer help. Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 12:19 pm ---- Infact, is this on your lasses?
I'm sure i turned the trip on
#14: Re: CD Changer help. Author: Abzynthe, Posted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 1:16 pm ---- Yeah it is. I'm sure you said you did, thats why Ive been looking for one ever since, but the changer definitely doesnt work
#15: Re: CD Changer help. Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 2:26 pm ---- I'm positive I did
Maybe you need to re-edit the MFD config for the CD changer. As im 99% sure that the CD changer option is in the MFD
