#1: timing belt picture instructions Author: haggis120, Location: scotlandPosted: Thu Sep 08, 2011 3:34 pm ---- Hi I was wondering if someone could help as I am about to replace my timing belt and alternator belt. I was wondering if anyone could come up with instructions with pictures or diagrams.
My car is a 206 1.4 hdi, 2002/02.

Honestly.

#5: Re: timing belt picture instructions Author: copey, Location: rochdalePosted: Fri Sep 09, 2011 1:44 am ---- as said above if you want pictures and instructions i can only see it ending in disaster, but if you are insistent on diy, remember to do all the pulleys ect and the water pump

The 1.4 HDi isn't that bad actually ... it was the first one I did (since then have changed the 2.0i in the CC and that was slightly more complex)
At the rear of the crank is a hole to lock it and that just needed a bolt!
I'm trying to think about the front, but I didn't use or need any special tools ... think it was a bolt here as well, but would need to re-look at my Haynes to confirm that!

Is the bottom crank pulley for ribbed belt one with three bolts or just one bolt holding it on?
The more help the better.
Cheers
