Mines fine good MPG and its a slow car really.

2.0HDi is one of the best diesel engines Peugeot has made.

main issues with them is there a lot louder (engine noise) than a petrol and you get a nice pile of smoke when you boot it

Not so the case these days in both noise and smoke.

2.0 HDI is the best diesel engine Peugeot ever fitted to the 206.

Basically bulletproof with 2 known issues that have already been sorted with modified parts available from any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer.

You can even get cheap to tax eco versions of the 2.0 HDI Cool

2.0 HDI has been around long enough & already proven it can do 400k+ miles if looked after Wink

Crank pulley & engine cover clips are the known issues, see your local Peugeot / Citroen main dealer for modified parts.

Dickheads putting petrol in the tank ruins the pump & injectors.

The TU1 / TU3 & the DW10 are the best engine's to have in the 206.

I dont do the mileage for a DW10 so ill stick with the TU3 Wink

no wonder why 106 1.4 Xsi is so popular in low buget rallying.

why TU3 is better than the TU5 anyway? i mean in terms of engine design Question
