Got the original exhaust what points down at the back, nothing wrong with it but just wondered if you could get a chrome trim for it.

But all the universal one's are for a straight exhaust and the 206 I have points down like in the picture.

You can get ones for curved exhausts off of ebay. But as jord said, a back box from ebay will only set you back about 50 quid for a cheap one... maybe jusy save up and do that.

that would be a diesel then ... there was a trim that fitted to the tail pipe that looked like it was straight, but in actual fact was a dummy .. think they are on the "sporty" diesels ... not sure if you can get them separate from the box though.

Not just diesles that have the curved exhaust exhaust. I had the same backbox on my 1.1 petrol. I just cut the curved part of the exhaust out and put a straight trim onto it, in the end i just got a new one

When you done this was the exhaust system ok and in the end why did you change it?

yer it was fine just used my mates little grinder thing to cut the curve off and leave enough pipe to fix the new trim to. Nah i replaced the whole exhaust as it was pretty rusty and got a 1.4 backbox which has a chrome trim on it allready Smile

actually you could probably pick up a second hand standard 1.4 backbox with the chrome trim on for the same price as a trim

yer this is what i was talking about, this is probably your best bet if youre not going to change the backbox, will save a lot of time than messing around cutting stuff, wish i knew these existed before i bothered doing it to mine
