#1: Chris' China 206 GTi Author: chrisgordon7gti, Location: DurhamPosted: Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:03 pm ---- I find myself owning my 5th french car and my 2nd 206. You would have thought I would have learnt my lesson but I can't seen to keep my self away from them my past french experiences have been:
1.1 206 Gti lookalike, I know the lexarse lights are horrid but I liked them when I had the car.
1.6 8v saxo vtr
1.6 16v 106 GTi
1.6 16v saxo vts
and now my 2.0 16v 206 GTi
I was looking around local garages and found this
I love the colour and thought it is a good base to start with.
the alloys are 19' cheap n nasty and are rotten away so I am looking at replacing them as soon as possible. I will be starting work on her after my holiday at easter.
I bought some phase 2 side repeaters from Pugwiser and decided to spray my alloys black to hide the rot on my wheels until i can afford some vortex's.
I done a photoshop to visualise what she will look like lower, here it is
My future plans are
GTi 180 vortex alloys
lowered approx 50mm
phase 2 bootstrip
phase 2 washer jets
sp top grill
rear lights
airbox air filter
rear windows tinted
armrest
strut brace
fast road cams
remap
exhaust system with decat
manifold
stubby aerial
it is quite a long list but those are the plans i have for her, has anyone got any suggestions what I can do?? Last edited by chrisgordon7gti on Tue May 11, 2010 1:17 pm; edited 2 times in total

If you are looking for better wheels you could sell yours and by some nimrods, much easier on the wallet. Also why swap from a 106 GTi to a Saxo VTs, surely a sidestep, and I prefer the 106 anyway!

#7: Re: Chris' China 206 GTi Author: chrisgordon7gti, Location: DurhamPosted: Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:20 pm ---- I hate the wheels that are on at the minute, your right it does look like a tractor but Iwill be getting them changed for either nimrods or vortex's, I will sort out the rear bumper, I will keep my eyes peeled the for sale section.
