if your on a budget buy what you can afford, at the end of the day, any alarm going off in a multi storey may just scare them off.

DIY alarm install on a multiplexed 206 isnt advisable, even so called professional alarm installers cant get them wired in correctly Laughing

The only diy alarm install I would do on a multiplexed 206 like the OP's is a Peugeot aftermarket alarm system which do turn up on Ebay from time to time.

I have known of people who dont leave any thing in their car and then leave the door unlocked so that they dont have to brake any thing to get in.

Fit the hazard / lock button, tweak BSI configuration & update the BSI software = flashing red led Cool

Later BSI software versions the alarm led will also flash when the immobiliser is armed.

Can you swap the 1 large haz switch, with the haz/lock one?? Question

Yes BUT you need the BSI configuration set up tweaking & possibly also a BSI software update to get ALL the functions of the double switch working correctly.

OK bought a Haz/Lock Switch for £2 off ebay Laughing
MrBSI can you tell where in planet I go to activate? Had a quick look couldn't see anything? I did see in "Customer Options" the selecton for "Locking" goes from "Simple" to "Super" to "Off"???? Is this part of it???
Thanks in advance, sorry for taking over this thread.

Simple = normal central locking

Super = deadlocking

Off = povety manual locking
