Overkill.
Hammer a socket over it. I think Snap-on do a socket that cuts into the metal and gets stronger grip on the locker is removed.

dependant on how tight it is hammer and socket just shaved it
and the locking wheel nut removal keys couldn't get a bite on it
was the only option T_T
#7: Re: Help me Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:00 pm ---- Irwin do a nice little kit!
#8: Re: Help me Author: ExoVyper, Location: Waiting for the tugboats to push me into port (Whitehaven)Posted: Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:03 pm ---- that was the one i was using xD
the problem was that the cutting grooves actually ran into the socket for about a mm before they properly started and that was the distance i needed to havea bite
#9: Re: Help me Author: johnboy1989, Location: South walesPosted: Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:12 pm ---- ive been told £20 to take both of them off so just wanted to know is there anyway i could get it cheaper or not
#10: Re: Help me Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:14 pm ---- No
#11: Re: Help me Author: DMA24, Location: LlantrisantPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:24 pm ---- £20 sounds like a bargain for removing them, can be a bastardo of a job!
#12: Re: Help me Author: Dan-, Location: BiggleswadePosted: Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:32 pm ---- reminds me of my locking nut, was a right b**ch to remove, work managed to chisel new slots in and hammer the locking nut on and used a air gun onit, removed in 5mins, was done up to 135Nm stupid
#13: Re: Help me Author: DMA24, Location: LlantrisantPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:35 pm ---- I actually left 2 nimrods on the last car I scrapped because the locking nuts stressed me out so much
