hail to all, today when i was rushing to work and did'n have time to get car to idle because i was late i heard some strange noise comming from the engine. It sounds like a valves but i know that my pug has hydraulic tappets so i'm a little confused about that. The sound is more like spanish "castanes" and i can only hear it when i'm rapidly accelerating, but when the car is standing still (exp. stop for a traffic light) and when i try to rev it i can't hear the sound and the motor is running as normal no matter what rev is it on 2000 - 5000. Noise is gone as soon as the motor gets warmer and pass the 70C mark no matter how i accelerate or drive the car. Pleas, can somebody help me or know about whati'm talking about. And yes i changed the oil two days before and puted 3l of TOTAL 10W40 and had large service in july. Confused

Have you checked the oil level with the dipstick?
