after around 20mins of elbow grease, 4 cloths and some autoglym
It's not perfect as it was a quick run through before next time, but I need some heavy duty s**t to get through this heat shield grime, all recommendations welcome, except the silly ones

I think it's the first time the engine has seen a clean in its 8yr life

Will try and dig another one out if you need one. I should have painted the manifold at the same time, would have been a nicer job
It was only 2 10mm bolts to remove it IIRC

You can get a really nice mirror effect on the heat shield again with that.
