#1: battery/interior light/ ignition problem Author: askdash, Location: LondonPosted: Fri Oct 28, 2011 4:43 am ---- Hello all,
Recently I had a problem with my 206. I unlocked the car, went inside and turned on the interior light. After a few seconds, the light dimmed and finally went out. I suspected a battery problem and to verify, I tried to start the car. One try - nothing, two tries - nothing, I was convinced that the battery is flat as I have never had to try more than once to start the car. The car has only 35k miles on the clock.
However, when I tried a third time the car started without a problem and since then, I have had no starting problems - been two days since. However, the interior light goes off rather randomly when driven using the battery. I am really confused whats happening. A couple of months back, I had a Level 3 service at a Peugeot dealer and the battery was found to be in fine working order.
Any inputs or similar problems that you might have encountered and how you went about solving it will be much appreciated.
Also, can anyone recommend a reliable garage in London?
Cheers!
