No power.

So we all know my cars cursed.

But now,

Im putting foot down and nuffin relli happens consid its a 2.0 turbo.
Also feels like i get to the floor within a few seconds...

last time this happened it was the wire for the revs ( not very good with cars )

and like now i had a look but....

Any help?

What lee said. I would check the throttle cable again for a start. Did you put petrol in it? Very Happy

basically, its like, im in a slight bit of turbo i lose all power after like 3000 revs completely and the throttle touches floor within seconds, ive check the cable cu thats what it was last time. it was fine and all of sudden i stop and lights put foot down and it goes no where fast lol, its annoying me,eml??? turbo sounds alright. and its a diesel

what you gotta remember is, ya may think its fast because its a '2.0 litre turbo' , but its a 90bhp diesel engine which is v. slow in my opinion.

my 1.2 corsa i had was probably about same 0-60 as 2.0hdi


maybe your just expecting a bit much??

edit -- you said it loses power after 3k revs too, i have found with diesels they lose power in higher rev range ( i think its because diesel wont burn fast enough or something lol)
