#1: Reattaching alloy wheel lions Author: MRyan89, Location: Home: Fleet, Hampshire, Uni: Portsmouth! PostPosted: Thu Nov 10, 2011 6:11 pm

I got my vortex's refurbished yesterday, they are back to their former non-curbed glory! When the alloy wheel bloke did them he peeled off the lions in the center of each wheel, wrecking the foam like tape that attaches them. Instead of buying new ones, ive resprayed them black to contrast with the wheels...only problem is sticking them back on.

Any ideas which glue would be best? I was going to just superglue them but will that keep them on when they are exposed to rain, salt and autoglym stuff? Cant have them falling off straight away Laughing

Thanks all

tiger seal gets messy... with the lion being so intricate and have very little surface.

personally i would try and buy new lions as it could get tricky to stick them back on with sticky pads or glue them on...

there is no better option than buying new ones.... they will look a million times better than what ever you attempt..... but the best way would be use that foamy numberplate tape

99.9% of the time this is correct, plenty of fools on here get stuff of Ebay thinking they are getting a bargain until they find out the Peugeot main dealer price is cheaper Laughing
