Thanks Goldin, I need to make sure I keep a day spare to detail my own car before Pugfest/FCS

Thank you Diablored, I kinda fell out of love with my car at FCS when it was put on the themed paddocks and looked out of place amoungst all the other cars, and whilst it was on the hotel car park it was dented by a range rover door on a panel I had only just had painted two weeks before hand

But since getting some morettes and getting the covers sprayed, I love it again

Just a quick update to show I am still knocking about

I think she needs a front splitter, I like the LCR ones but they are around £50 delivered brand new, didn't they used to be only about £20??

I also have my old Nimrods up for sale here: 206info.co.uk/Forums/v...57875.html

As of last week the clutch pedal has started to feel stiff and the gears are getting harder to engage, and reverse will often crunch going into gear, also a fair bit of judder pulling away Sad

42,000 city miles have obviously taken their toll on the clutch

The clutch well and truly went, so I ordered a new Valeo one, which my mechanic round the corner from my work is going to fit

I'll take a picture of the old clutch, interested to see how bad it looks! I've also taken a spare flywheel to be lightened and balanced. I like to make the best of a bad situation

Car is back on the road now, getting it to the garage was a nightmare. Turns out the clutch release fork had cracked (that explains why I couldn't get any gears), and taken the thrust bearing with it. Got a second hand gearbox and new clutch kit, at least it's all fresh now.

My old gearbox is for sale, all it needs is a new clutch release fork and checking over

After having the 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars sitting around for nearly 18 months, they are finally on the car. Back end feels nice and stable now, a lot more planted to the road.

If anyone plans to do this, especially going up from the weedy 1.4/1.1 standard bars, take into account that if you keep the arms at the same height measurement, the stronger bars will cause the back end to sit even higher, so you need to accommodate for this when you adjust the arms, or end up doing it twice.

Recently I have been slowly collecting parts for my car, here's a small preview after some parts returned from the powder coaters.

Also my good friend Andy aka PezHdi (his username on here) has done some custom LED work for me on some of the interior pieces on my car. He is running this on an exchange basis and has a fair few colours available so if you like what you see here, you should drop him a PM. To say I'm impressed is an understatement, the iPhone quality pictures do it no justice.
